Trauma Surgery
Evansville Surgical Associates surgeons provide 24 hour trauma coverage at Deaconess and St. Vincent’s Hospitals. All our surgeons are ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) certified by the American College of Surgeons and both hospitals are designated as Level II Trauma Centers by the American College of Surgery. We admit and care for over 3000 trauma patients per year.
Emergency Surgery
Surgical emergencies are a large part of our practice, and include such candidates as appendicitis, perforated bowel, and ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm. Four surgeons are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to respond to any emergency.
