William M. (Matt) Vassy, M.D.

Dr. Vassy was born in Gaffney, South Carolina. He is a graduate of Clemson University and the Georgia Institute of Technology. He completed medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina and served a surgical internship at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina. He completed surgical residency at the University of Tennessee Surgical Center in Knoxville and completed a fellowship in surgical critical care while at the University of Tennessee. He has special interests in trauma, critical care and breast surgery. In his spare time, Dr. Vassy enjoys golf, hiking and spending time with his wife, Jane and children, Emma and Jackson. Dr. Vassy joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 2006.
