Dr. Nachtnebel was born in Ottawa, Illinois. He is a graduate of St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed his surgical residency at that institution. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Nachtnebel holds the position of Medical Director of Surgical Service at St. Mary's Medical Center. He also served as president of the medical staff at Deaconess Hospital. Dr. Nachtnebel enjoys gardening. He joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 1974.
